Friday and Saturday, June 11 and 12, 8:00 P.M.

Aggravated Resistentialism: A performance by Johanna Went with special guest z'ev.

A central theme of Went's performance work is a concept of the body as a fragmented collection of fleshy parts which, though attached, act independently. Each part, with conflicting needs and desires, tries to manipulate the whole, resulting in a chain reaction of chaotic impulses and erratic behavior. In Aggravated Resistentialism, the body attempts to join together the sum of its parts to escape the wrath of everything that it has coveted, created, or consumed. Reservations 310.264.4678 and prepayment required; admission $10.

JUNE: Monthlong celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Burr/Hamilton duel, including reenactment and potluck picnic.

Other performances to be announced.
